ACM SIGMOD'2007 New Researcher Symposium

Tuesday, June 12th 2007, 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Room 201-A.

The goal of this year's symposium is to give new and soon-to-be graduates advice on having successful careers whether they chose to live in North America, Europe, or Asia. For everone else, it should also be interesting to come and hear about what it takes to be successul in other countries. Many of us have some idea about having a career in the country where we currently live, but most of us do not know much about opportunities abroad and how they compare. The symposium is highly informal. So we hope you come with any questions you have been afraid to ask, and we promise to give you an answer. Everyone is welcome!
